We Talk: Foreign youth say President Xi's speech will help promote global women's development

Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony of the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women and delivered a keynote speech in Beijing on Monday. He emphasized that women play an important role in creating, promoting and carrying forward human civilization, adding that the international community also shares a responsibility to advance the cause of women.

CGTN invited Moraima Ordonez, a Mexican student at Peking University, and Vitumbiko Caroline Ng'oma, a youth from Malawi, to share their insights on President Xi's speech. Ordonez noted, "This demonstrates China's ongoing commitment to working with all nations in promoting gender equality and reducing inequalities."
