The Global Leaders' Meeting on Women was held in Beijing on October 13 and 14. On this occasion, Vietnamese vlogger Tiểu Thanh and her friend Zhang Le discussed women's education in China. Zhang Le, a teacher, said that over the past decade, Chinese women's education levels have steadily improved. As early as 2010, the proportion of female students in both undergraduate and associate degree programs at Chinese universities had already surpassed that of male students. The government has prioritized women's education through support initiatives, such as the Spring Bud Project, which has helped many girls complete their studies. "As the level of education rises, women's awareness of economic independence has also increased. This promotes a shift in mindset, which in turn drives social progress," Zhang said.
