Over 10,000 migratory birds have arrived at Nanji Wetland National Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province's Poyang Lake, signaling the peak of the East Asian-Australasian migration season. Since the 2020 fishing ban, bird numbers have been steadily increasing as the wetland's ecology gradually recovers. To ensure a safe wintering season, local authorities are enhancing habitat protection and cracking down on activities that threaten the birds' environment.
