The 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit will be held from November 6 to 9 in Wuzhen, east China's Zhejiang Province, according to a press conference on Friday.
With the theme of "Forging an Open, Cooperative, Secure and Inclusive Digital Future – Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace," the summit will feature 24 sub-forums.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the proposal of the idea of "building a community with a shared future in cyberspace." The summit will host a special symposium reviewing the theoretical progress and practical achievements made over the past decade and fostering broader collaboration to advance the idea's implementation.
A new highlight of this year's summit is the Wuzhen dialogue of "Six Little Dragons," featuring leaders from six innovative companies making waves in the tech world, including DeepSeek and Unitree Robotics. They will exchange views on global AI innovation trends and discuss how cross-sector collaboration can help address common challenges facing humanity.

The WIC Digital Academy will continue to host training sessions to enhance digital literacy and bridge the global digital divide. The Light of the Internet Expo will focus on AI frontiers, ecosystems, applications, industries and everyday life, and will for the first time include internet science outreach activities.
The WIC Awards for Pioneering Science and Technology has attracted over 400 submissions from 34 countries, covering frontier fields such as embodied intelligence and 6G.
In addition, two new professional committees – on e-commerce and digitalization of cultural heritage – will be launched this year. The former aims to foster a favorable global business environment for online trade, while the latter will promote cultural exchange and mutual learning through digital platforms. The conference will also release several international reports, providing insights into global internet governance.
The prestigious WIC Distinguished Contribution Award will once again be announced during the opening ceremony. Nearly 200 companies worldwide have applied. Meanwhile, the Global Youth Leadership Program continues to draw strong participation, with over 1,000 young innovators from nearly 120 countries and regions expected to join the youth and digital future forum to share their voices.
