More than 60 percent of China's autumn grain has been harvested, signaling a bumper season ahead. Northeast China, producing nearly 40 percent of the country's grain, is expecting its best yield in years. Meanwhile, regions along the Yellow, Huaihe, and Haihe rivers, as well as the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and northwest China, are also seeing smooth progress during the harvest.
