China-DPRK border land postal route restarts! Dandong-Sinuiju link resumed

The China-DPRK border land postal route (Dandong-Sinuiju) officially resumed operations via inter-governmental coordination on September 25. As a key mail link between the two sides, it will now offer more efficient logistics for cross-border mail exchanges between residents and enterprises.

China-DPRK land transport (railway and postal routes included) saw multiple suspensions since the 2020 epidemic outbreak. Though Dandong-Sinuiju railway freight was temporarily restarted in January 2022, it remained under control later due to epidemic prevention rules.

The postal route's resumption directly meets the residents' needs for sending letters and parcels between the two countries, and particularly benefits groups like border trade workers and cross-border visiting families.
