Quite a lot of tea lovers in Beijing are now invited to savor autumn's tranquility through curated tastings, artisan craftsmanship and activities such as selecting cakes to pair with their favorite tea drinks. A four-day event, running through October 19, blends premium teas, exquisite tea ware and immersive cultural experiences. A tea ware enthusiast surnamed Chen shared her excitement of browsing for proper tea ware: "Autumn is perfect for slow tea sessions at home. I came specifically to find a hand-painted lidded bowl and a teapot for boiling tea," explained Chen. The expo will host a series of enlightening lectures, including a tea and seasonal snack pairing workshop, and a Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) Ceramics Symposium, aiming to immerse visitors in the refined aesthetics of tea culture.
