The UN World Food Programme (WFP) said on Friday that it has delivered an average of about 560 tonnes of food per day into Gaza since the Israel-Hamas ceasefire took effect. However, supplies remain far below the level needed to address the severe humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
The agency said distributions have not yet started in Gaza City, where needs are most acute, due to the continued closure of northern crossings.
