This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, and people-to-people exchanges between the two nations have grown stronger. More and more Vietnamese youth are coming to China to study, and Nguyen Thi Lan is one of them.
Arriving in China in 2023, Nguyen Thi Lan is currently enrolled in the "Chinese Language + Cross-border E-commerce" program at Tianjin University. She enjoys sharing her experiences on social media, introducing her hometown's culture to her Chinese followers. In her spare time, she frequently volunteers for various community activities.
With her language skills and academic background, Nguyen Thi Lan also serves as a translator at economic and trade exchange events. "Facilitating cooperation between the two countries is the most meaningful thing," she says.
Youth energy has always been a vital driving force for global development. As part of CGTN's "Act to Action" social campaign, we invite youth from all APEC economies to share their stories and ideas on global governance. Let's showcase the power of youth!
