China's commercial rocket sends three satellites to space on October 19, 2025. /China Media Group
A commercial rocket lifted off on Sunday in northwest China, successfully sending three satellites into space, including one from Pakistan.
The rocket, named Lijian-1 Y8, blasted off at 11:33 a.m. from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone near the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
The other two satellites were provided by AIRSAT, a commercial satellite solution provider.
