China's rural tourism industry has just received wider global acclaim! Four new villages – Digang Village in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province; Jikayi Village in Danba County, Sichuan Province, Dongluo Village in Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province; and Huanggang Village in Liping County, Guizhou Province – were added to the UN Tourism's 2025 Best Tourism Villages list. This prestigious recognition brings China's total count to 19, celebrating the preservation of unique cultural sites from ancient silk-weaving systems to millennia-old ethnic farming traditions.
