France's Culture Minister Rachida Dati on Sunday said that the Louvre Museum in Paris was closed after a robbery, according to her statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"A robbery took place this morning at the opening of the Louvre Museum," she wrote on X, and added that an investigation is underway.
