Launched by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau (HYAB) of the government of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the HYAB Thematic Youth Internship Programmes to the Mainland (Thematic Programmes) has provided young people from Hong Kong with valuable opportunities to intern in cultural, environmental conservation and scientific research institutions across the Chinese mainland.

Among the participants is Chow Chi-chung, a 20-year-old man from Hong Kong, who has completed two internship programs – one in Beijing and another in Shanghai. In Beijing, he was deeply impressed by the city's rich cultural heritage, while in Shanghai, he experienced the awe-inspiring "China speed." "Every trip to the mainland brings me new gains," he said.

The young generation is a driving force for global development. Through CGTN's "Act to Action" campaign, we invite young people from all APEC economies to share their stories and ideas on global governance. Let's showcase the power of youth to shape a better world!
