After Israel delayed the reopening of the Rafah crossing, long lines of trucks loaded with humanitarian supplies were seen on the Egyptian side on October 19. Located at the southern end of the Gaza Strip, the Rafah crossing connects to Egypt and serves as the main route for international humanitarian aid into Gaza. Several truck drivers said they had been turned back by Israel more than once.
