Established in 2002, Wakatobi National Park in Indonesia is a treasure trove of marine life. It is home to diverse ecosystems featuring spectacular coral reefs and a rich variety of fish species, as some cetacean species like whales and dolphins can also be found in the area. In 2012, Wakatobi was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. With its breathtaking underwater scenery, it is also a paradise for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts seeking to explore its marine wonders. Wakatobi National Park also continues to strengthen its conservation efforts to protect its natural resources and ecosystems.
