Russia on Wednesday carried out a major nuclear readiness exercise following the postponement of a planned summit with U.S. President Donald Trump. The drill involved launches of "Yars" intercontinental ballistic missiles from Plesetsk, a "Sineva" missile from a submarine in the Barents Sea and nuclear-capable cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers. According to Kremlin officials, all operations were completed successfully, demonstrating Moscow's strategic capabilities amid heightened tensions with NATO.
