The U.S. military has destroyed another suspected drug-trafficking vessel in the Pacific, killing three people, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced on October 22. It marks the ninth attack by the U.S. since early September. Earlier that day, Hegseth said that the U.S. military had hit a vessel in the Pacific, in a different strike, leaving two people dead on the night of October 21.
