China readies to send the Shenzhou-21 crewed spacecraft to the country's space station. The combination of the spaceship and its Long March-2F carrier rocket was transferred to the launch area of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Friday morning.
Carried by a mobile launch platform, the combination moved along 1.5 kilometers of seamless rail toward the launch tower from the testing facility. The Shenzhou-21 spaceflight will mark the 10th time China has sent humans to its space station since construction began in April 2021, and the sixth one since the space station entered the stage of application and development. The Shenzhou-21 crewed mission is set to be launched at an appropriate time in the coming days.
