Hundreds gathered in Gaza's Khan Yunis for the funeral of 54 Palestinians, most unidentified at the time of the report, whose remains were returned by Israel under a ceasefire agreement. Mourners carried Palestinian flags and chanted prayers as the bodies, many wrapped in shrouds, were laid to rest. Local official Ziad Obeid told CGTN Stringer that all unidentified remains in the Gaza Strip will be buried here. "In the coming days, a specialized laboratory will be established for the search and detection of bodies in accordance with our agreement with the Red Cross, helping families identify the deceased."
