For over three decades, Lan Bozhou, an author from China's Taiwan region, has been writing about the modern history of Taiwan in the 1950s. A particular focus of his work has been resistance by people in Taiwan against Japanese colonial rule. A film crew from CGTN spent 20 days accompanying Mr. Lan as he traced the footsteps of Wu Sihan, a young man who, in the 1940s, traveled from Taiwan to Chongqing to support the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
