In the summer of 2025, Taiwan writer Lan Bozhou traveled to Shenyang in Northeast China. Although Lan discovered few details about Wu Sihan's stay in the area, something he did gain was a deeper understanding of the hardship the young man from Taiwan had endured on his long journey to the mainland to join the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
