The Second Chinese Museum Studies Conference was held in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, from October 23 to 26. It gathered global museum experts and media to explore the integration of culture and economy in the museum sector. Experts from China, the United States, Brazil, Tunisian and other countries shared in-depth insights on how innovative practices and cross-cultural exchanges boost global cooperation. Museum scholars from APEC member economies highlighted culture's unique role in economic collaboration. Meanwhile, UNESCO and the Chinese Museum Association jointly launched the "Guidelines for Accessible Museums in China" and the Chinese version of the "Museum Studies Dictionary," paving new ways for the future development of the global museum industry.
