Kim Jong Un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), on Friday paid tribute to the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (CPV) on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of CPV's entering the DPRK to fight in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea.
Kim visited the CPV martyrs' cemetery in Hoechang County, South Phyongan Province.
Completed in 1975, the cemetery spans about 90,000 square meters and memorializes the heroism of the CPV in various art forms including statues, inscriptions, reliefs and paintings.
