A selection of renowned war films, including "The Volunteers" trilogy directed by Chen Kaige and "The Battle at Lake Changjin" film series, will be shown again at cinemas in China as part of a film exhibition that began on Saturday, October 25, marking the 75th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's participation in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.  

75 years ago, countless Chinese People's Volunteer Army soldiers embarked on a journey to resist US aggression and aid Korea. Now, from October 25 to November 23, the film exhibition provides audiences with a precious opportunity to relive those glorious yet arduous years on the silver screen and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.

The exhibition has carefully selected eight films centered around the theme of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. These works span various genres, which also include animated features and documentaries, catering to audiences of all ages.

One of the highlights is the animated film "Salute to the Heroes," which brings the heroic stories of the war to a new generation, making history accessible and engaging for children and teenagers. Through vivid animation and compelling narratives, the film allows young viewers to connect with the past and understand the sacrifices made by war heroes.
