From October 24 to 26, the 2025 World Laureates Forum at Shanghai's Lingang Center brought together 25 laureates of the Nobel, Turing, Wolf and Fields prizes, along with leading scientists and young innovators from around the world, to explore the future of global science and innovation. At the opening ceremony, the 2025 World Laureates Association Prize in Computer Science or Mathematics was awarded to Richard Schoen of Stanford University. The WLA Prize in Life Science or Medicine went to Scott Emr of Cornell University and Wesley Sundquist of the University of Utah.
