China concluded the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Jakarta by winning more gold medals, thanks, in part, to a strong performance from Zou Jingyuan.
Zou captured his fourth world title with a total score of 15.300 points, securing China's third gold medal of the championships. A two-time Olympic gold medallist and now a four-time world champion, Zou has had to overcome a shoulder injury and adapt to recent rule changes since the Paris Olympics.

On the women's side, Zhang claimed her first world title on the balance beam, delivering a brilliant routine that scored 15.166 points ahead of Algeria's Kaylia Nemour in second place and Japan's Aiko Sugihara in third. As the top qualifier, Zhang secured the gold with a high 6.9 difficulty and flawless execution.
The win marked a fitting end to the championships, with China finishing the competition with three gold, one silver and three bronze medals.
