China has expressed willingness to provide humanitarian help after a U.S. military helicopter and a fighter jet crashed in the South China Sea within 30 minutes of each other. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said that China has taken note of the incidents and is ready to offer necessary assistance if asked. He also emphasized that U.S. military actions in the area are the main cause of maritime security risks and instability.
