China is willing to provide necessary assistance to the United States on humanitarian grounds after two U.S. Navy aircraft crashed into the South China Sea, China's Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
The frequent dispatch of U.S. warships and aircraft to the South China Sea to flex its muscles is the root cause of maritime security risks and the disruption of regional peace and stability, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said during a press conference.
