Sany Renewable Energy's blade plant in Shaoshan, located in central China's Hunan Province, is advancing smart manufacturing. 

Recognized by the World Economic Forum as the world's first "lighthouse factory" in the wind power sector, it produces wind turbine blades up to 118 meters long. As Asia's largest single-site blade facility, it operates 12 molds at once, manufacturing around 3,000 onshore blades each year.
