A delegation of American mayors is writing a new chapter in US-China relations, starting from the bustling Dongshan Nong market in Hangzhou. During their visit to China for the China-US Sister Cities Conference, former Prairie View Mayor Frank Jackson and current vice president of the World Conference of Mayors, explored the vibrant market with reporter Liu Mohan.
Jackson described the experience as deeply enjoyable and said he would explore opportunities to establish a sister city relationship for Tuskegee, Alabama. Jaz Harkless, administrative assistant of the delegation, emphasized their commitment to bringing more American youth to China in order to strengthen cultural and practical cooperation between the two countries.
