Small but exquisite fridge magnets are ranking among the most popular cultural and creative products developed by museums in China. Many visitors, especially young people, have gotten used to picking up a fridge magnet as a souvenir, or to add to their collection after visiting cultural institutions.

A fridge magnet series developed by the Henan Museum became the latest example of this trend. Its design drew inspiration from the Qing Dynasty enamel-inlaid jade gourd in the museum's collection.

Both the National Museum of China and the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum had previously released their own series of featured refrigerator magnets, which proved a hit with visitors.

With recent advances in technology and craftsmanship, fridge magnets have become more elegant and infused with a wider array of cultural elements.
