Israeli airstrikes killed at least 91 people in Gaza, including dozens of children, Al-Shifa hospital officials said on Wednesday, marking the deadliest day since the ceasefire began. The strikes came after Israel accused Hamas of "killing a soldier"and "staging" the recovery of a hostage's remains. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military to carry out "immediate, powerful strikes in the Gaza Strip," his office said in a brief statement. The Israeli military said that it had resumed enforcing the Gaza ceasefire agreement after a series of strikes across the enclave that it said were in response to Hamas violations.
