A seminar on the book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China Volume V" and its ideas was held in Beijing on October 27. Chinese and foreign guests gathered to read and discuss the fifth volume of the book, which spotlights the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the recommendations for the 15th Five-Year Plan. The event also featured in-depth discussions on the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative, and the Global Governance Initiative.

Participants noted that the book, published in July this year, provides the international community with the latest insights into China's development, progress, and future direction in the new era. They said that Chinese modernization demonstrated the diversity of modernization paths and offers new Chinese experiences to humanity's collective modernization journey. They added that China was the first country to propose and fully implement the concept of a community with a shared future for humanity. The 15th Five-Year Plan continues to promote this vision, injecting greater certainty into a turbulent world and reflecting the global responsibility and compassion of the CPC.

Attendees emphasized that the four global initiatives originate from China's development practices and serve the common interests of all countries. They represent practical pathways and intellectual guidance for building a community with a shared future for humanity.

Ahmed Shiraz, a member of Pakistan's Customs Commission, said the concept of a "community with a shared future for humanity" advocates unity and cooperation, embodies China's philosophical wisdom, and helps address common global challenges.
