Tea art, the traditional practice of brewing and serving tea with precision and grace, has officially entered China's vocational education system. Training in tea art is now included in the Ministry of Commerce's national vocational training curriculum. This development highlights the increasing importance placed on preserving cultural heritage alongside acquiring modern skills. At the 4th Vocational Training and Development Conference of Chaoyang District in Beijing, local authorities demonstrated their capacity to provide 100,000 training opportunities for skilled professionals annually and their creation of 23 national, municipal and district-level master studios to cultivate high-level talent. To enhance practical expertise, they also organized 19 skills competitions in 14 occupational fields, including barista and cybersecurity competitions.
