China on Tuesday adopted the recommendations for the country's 15th Five-Year Plan, setting a roadmap that will steer national development through to 2030. Ma Liang, a professor at Peking University, said the 15th Five-Year Plan's recommendations reaffirm China's efforts to cultivate and expand emerging and future industries.

The professor also said that China's people-centered vision is another highlight for the coming five years, which means making solid progress toward realizing common prosperity for all.
