Chinese President Xi Jinping said that U.S. President Donald Trump is very enthusiastic about settling various regional hotspot issues during a meeting with Trump in Busan, the Republic of Korea, on Thursday.
President Xi said China has also been promoting peace talks to resolve various hotspot issues.
Noting that the world today is confronted with many tough problems, Xi said China and the United States can jointly shoulder their responsibility as major countries and work together to accomplish more great and concrete things for the good of our two countries and the whole world.
