From October 28 to 29, the China Media Group (CMG) hosted high-level events named "Innovation, Openness and Shared Development Global Dialogues" in Chile's Santiago, Sri Lanka's Colombo and Denmark's Copenhagen. The series gathered political, business and academic leaders to discuss China's commitment to high-level opening up and shared global prosperity.

CMG President Shen Haixiong addressed all three sessions, emphasizing the significance of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He affirmed that China would expand its high-level opening up, fostering win-win cooperation and providing greater confidence and stability to an uncertain world through policy continuity. He added that CMG will continue to share China's solutions for global governance and the momentum of Chinese modernization.

In Chile, former President Eduardo Frei highlighted the vital role of the proposed 15th Five-Year Plan in sharing opportunities globally. Celebrating the 55th anniversary of ties, he expressed Chile's readiness to expand cooperation with China in trade, investment and AI. Experts and youth concurred on the high complementarity between China and Chile in agriculture and manufacturing, urging deeper practical cooperation.

In Sri Lanka, Deputy Finance Minister Anil Jayantha Fernando praised China's technological innovation and open attitude. He noted that Sri Lanka, facing economic challenges, supports China's openness and seeks to strengthen solidarity and friendship to move toward a brighter future. The session also featured a screening of a short video on sustainable development of Chinese enterprises overseas.

In Denmark, the dialogue marked the series' first stop in a Nordic country. Tom Behrens-Sørensen, chairman of the Danish-Chinese Business Forum, highlighted China's Five-Year Plan system as a valuable reference for global development models. He emphasized that China's win-win philosophy fosters an open world economy and expressed optimism that Danish and Chinese enterprises will leverage their complementary advantages to elevate bilateral relations.
