China promotes green trade to meet global market demand

International institutions predict that by 2030, the global market for products and technologies such as electric vehicles, solar power and wind power will reach $2.1 trillion – five times its current size – indicating broad market prospects. China's International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce, Li Chenggang, said the Ministry of Commerce has issued the Implementation Opinions on Expanding Green Trade. The opinions aim to accelerate the "greening" of China's foreign trade, promote its development and help fill the global "green gap."
