China's National Games marked a milestone on Sunday with its first-ever cross-boundary torch relay, held simultaneously across the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen in south China's Guangdong Province, one week before the games are scheduled to commence. Later in the day, the four torch flames will converge at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center, where they will be merged into a single flame that will ignite the main cauldron at the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games on November 9.
