The four mice that traveled to the China Space Station aboard the Shenzhou-21 crewed spacecraft are in good health and have successfully adapted to the microgravity environment, according to the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization under the Chinese Academy of Sciences. All key environmental parameters – such as temperature, humidity and oxygen levels – remain stable and within normal ranges. Monitoring data shows that the mice are eating and drinking normally. The mice – two males and two females – will remain in orbit for five to seven days before returning to Earth aboard the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft for further scientific research.
