Moraima Ordoñez, a Mexican student at Peking University, said that the president's speech at the first session of the 32nd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting outlined a clear direction for future Asia-Pacific cooperation and development, stressing the importance of open trade and mutual benefit. As a young person from an APEC economy, she expressed hope that the region will strengthen cooperation by creating global pathways for the younger generation.
