The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. As the world's first national-level expo dedicated to imports, the CIIE continues to demonstrate China's commitment to openness and global cooperation. This year's event sets a new record in scale, with 155 participating countries, regions, and international organizations, and 4,108 overseas enterprises, including 290 Fortune Global 500 companies.

Spanning 430,000 square meters, the expo will feature 461 new products, technologies, and services, highlighting future industries such as the low-altitude economy, humanoid robots and green low-carbon innovation.

Since its launch, the CIIE has become a powerful trade facilitator, with cumulative intended deals surpassing $500 billion in its first seven editions. 

This demonstrates China's determination to share market opportunities, said Vice Commerce Minister Sheng Qiuping at a press conference on Tuesday.
