Mahmoud Abu Foul, a 28-year-old from Gaza, said he was arrested by Israeli forces from Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza last December and endured relentless beatings that left him blind.

He is among nearly 2,000 Palestinians released under the ceasefire deal that took effect on October 10, with many released detainees showing visible signs of physical abuse.
