The 8th China International Import Expo, or CIIE, kicked off in Shanghai on Wednesday.
As one of the world's largest national-level platforms dedicated to imports, this year's event has drawn participation from more than 4,000 overseas companies. Li Guoqing, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau, explained to CGTN why the expo continues to attract strong interest from foreign enterprises.
