Mainland authorities have introduced a series of policies to benefit Taiwan compatriots and facilitate their visits and business ventures on the mainland. Starting from November 20, 42 additional ports will offer one-time Taiwan Compatriot Permits upon arrival. Visitors from China's Taiwan region making their first trip to the mainland will receive free entry to thousands of scenic spots nationwide.
