These channels are now available around the clock on over 15 international FAST platforms, reaching close to 200 million users globally. This launch marks a key step in CGTN's strategy to expand into new models of international communication.
Each channel focuses on a specific content vertical, tailored to meet the interests of overseas audiences. CGTN's Global Business show aims to provide a 24/7 financial information service, delivering real-time market updates, in-depth analysis, and expert interviews to help global viewers understand China's economic policies and market opportunities.
China Travel offers a window into contemporary Chinese tourism and lifestyles, showcasing modern China to the world. Discovering China features curated documentaries that highlight the achievements of Chinese modernization and cultural exchanges, presenting a comprehensive picture of China's development and cultural appeal.
FAST TV has emerged as a rapidly growing new format in the global television market in recent years, featuring vertical content, intuitive naming, concise programming and advertising support.
Since 2023, CGTN has proactively laid out its FAST channel strategy, successfully launching its English channel and documentary channel on leading global FAST platforms. The content of the three newly launched channels is sourced from CGTN's high-quality program resources.
