Guangdong Province in south China added five new ports offering the 240-hour visa-free transit program starting on November 5, as part of China's ongoing efforts to further advance its opening-up policy.
The newly included ports are:
- Guangzhou Pazhou Ferry Terminal
- Hengqin Port
- Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port
- Zhongshan Port
- West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link
In preparation for the upcoming 15th National Games, these ports have begun operating to provide easier access for overseas tourists visiting Guangdong to attend the sporting events. The National Games are scheduled to take place from November 9 to 21 in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
