A UPS cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Louisville International Airport in the U.S. state of Kentucky on November 4, after its left wing caught fire and an engine detached. At least 11 people, including a child, were killed. Kentucky has declared a state of emergency, search and rescue efforts continue, and investigators have recovered the aircraft's black boxes.
