China‘s upcoming 15th National Games are gaining momentum as athletes and officials arrived at cities in Guangdong Province, and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.

The games will run from November 9 to 21, taking place at 105 venues and featuring 34 competitive sports with 419 events, plus 23 mass-participation sports with 166 events. More than 20,000 athletes are set to compete this year – almost double the 2021 edition –  making it one of the largest National Games ever.
