The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) is being held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2025.

The expo will see the release of the World Openness Report and the latest World Openness Index. A series of forums will also be organized around topics like revitalizing multilateral cooperation, empowering development through digital intelligence, green and sustainable growth, and a more open China.

Remmel Jasmin, a German student studying at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, said she is particularly interested in new products related to green and smart services as well as digital and intelligent transformation. She believes that the CIIE, as a one-of-a-kind global platform, offers a valuable opportunity for China and Germany to deepen cooperation, strengthen their links with global markets and jointly advance green transition and sustainable development.
